We are proud to announce that Dr Glenn McCulloch – a retired neurosurgeon and current Board Member - is the new NRF President.

The NRF would like to thank former President Prof Robert Vink AM for his commitment over the last 15 years.

Dr McCulloch said, “I would like to thank former President Prof Robert Vink AM for his outstanding work over the past 15 years. Not only has he served as President but he has also served as Board Member and held the NRF Chair of Neurosurgical Research at the University of Adelaide.

“I have taken over as President of the NRF. I joined the NRF Board in 2010 after I retired from operative neurosurgery, later holding the positions of Vice-President and Chair of the Scientific Committee. I have become involved because I want to be a part of the team that finds solutions to the treatment and cures for brain tumours, traumatic brain injury and other devastating neurosurgical conditions.

"In my new role as President I am looking forward to leading this unique organisation so that we can continue to give hope to patients and support world-class researchers here in South Australia. Thank you for your ongoing support," Dr McCulloch said.
