Our son, Critter, loved AFL.
After leaving school, he played alongside many of his closest mates at the Pulteney Football Club, a place that quickly became his second family. Over the years, Critter grew into a true leader, serving as co-captain and becoming a dedicated mentor to the younger players coming through the club.
When Critter was diagnosed with brain cancer, the Pulteney Football Club rallied around him with incredible support, organising fundraising events and standing beside him through n incredibly difficult time.
Determined to turn that generosity into something positive, Critter founded the Strong Enough to Live platform, directing funds towards the Neurosurgical Research Foundation (NRF) to support vital research into better treatments for brain cancer.
Critter sadly passed away at just 26.
Now, we are committed to carrying on the work he started and raising funds for the two organisations that meant so much to him: Pulteney Football Club and NRF.

Over the next four weeks, I (Marty, Critters father) will embark on a motorcycle journey through the Himalayas, travelling 5,100 kilometres from Kashmir to Kathmandu.
The Himalayas were a place Critter dreamed of visiting, but he never had the chance.
So, as I make this journey, I will carry a piece of his spirit with me, along with his reminder that:
We were given this life because we are strong enough to live it.
Every kilometre will be a tribute to Critter. Every mountain will be a reminder of the life he lived, the people he loved and the difference he wanted to make.
