Current fundraising for vital equipment to aid in stroke, traumatic brain injury, vascular and brain tumour surgery
It is an endoscope which allows us to perform a broader range of minimally invasive surgery for safe and effective removal of brain tumours and cysts as well as brain hemorrhage evacuation. The current endoscope we are using has a single working channel thus limiting the scope of cases that can be done endoscopically to biopsies and removal of small cysts only. The advantage of this Lotta scope is that it has 2 working channels allowing bimanual dissection using 2 instruments for safe removal of tumors, cysts and evacuation of brain hemorrhage.
Total cost = $29,761
