Sian and Bronwen:

Survivor

Sian and Bronwen, two beautiful, talented, aspiring musicians, A Grade high school students, living life to the full. Both have spina bifida. Their lives have been saved by neurosurgery.

Sian can walk because her leg was saved through research and surgical developments. She is a talented musician who has aspirations of becoming a lawyer.


Bronwen’s life was saved through neurosurgery. She also has spinal hydrocephalus and had cysts in her spine which had to be removed to save her life. Bronwen is now looking forward to a bright future as either a sign language interpreter or a professional musician.

Not so long ago these talented girls would not have had these opportunities.
