The NRF has funded over $6.8m of neurosurgical research, spanning 53 years from 1963 - 2016

2015:

  • NRF Paediatric Neurosurgical Research funded by a permanent endowment of $1 million at the University of Adelaide.

2004 – 2016:

  • Neurosurgical Research grants $1.5million given to the University of Adelaide
  • Equipment grants $500,000 given to the University of Adelaide
  • Neurosurgical Research grants $1.5 million given to SA Institutions.

2008:

  • Abbie Simpson Clinical Fellowship: the second position to be endowed by the NRF $800,000 at the University of Adelaide.

1993 – 2003:

  • National Grants of $160,000 were awarded throughout Australia.

2004:

  • NRF Chair of Neurosurgical Research was funded by a permanent endowment of $1.8milion at the University of Adelaide.

1963 – 1987:

  • Grants of $90,000 were awarded throughout Australia.

The NeuroSurgical Research Foundation was founded in 1963 by Dr Trevor Dinning.
