The NRF has funded over $4.3m dollars of neurosurgical research

1963 - 1987 Grants of $90,000 were awarded throughout Australia
1992 Established the NRF Chair of Neurosurgical Research at the University of Adelaide
1993 - 2003 Grants of $440,705 were awarded throughout Australia

The NRF Chair of Neurosurgical Research was funded by a permanent endowment of $1.8 million from the NRF
2008 A total of $1,000,000 is achieved towards the Abbie Simpson Clinical Fellowship. This is the second academic position to be endowed by the NRF
2004 - 2011 Grants of $684,000 were awarded throughout Australia
2010 Established Paediatric Research Appeal raising $500,000
